We focus on the following factors to allow ourselves to build our students upon a strong foundational understanding of the Islamic faith.

Education – Providing a unique and meticulously designed educational provision of programs. Our curriculum is tailored to instil our students with a firm grounding and understanding of Islam and culture. We Inspire individuals, young and old, with knowledge, guiding them towards personal and academic excellence
Empowerment – Fostering a sense of empowerment within our diverse community, to encourage active participation in local and global initiatives. We hope to Inspire others through Islamic principles, instilling values of compassion, love and service not only within our community but throughout humanity.
Service provision – Engaging in vital welfare and community work, we are dedicated to addressing the needs of the less fortunate through contribution, to the welfare of society. We run a community food bank, Mothers & Toddlers, Humanitarian Relief Projects and much more.
Sharing – Spreading the word of Islam and engaging in missionary activities throughout Scotland and beyond. Through our outreach efforts, we aim to bring the beauty of Islam and share the message of Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism) and the Sunnah (Prophetic Traditions) to people of different backgrounds.

By public vote in 2019, AFECC was voted Scotland’s Mosque of the Year thanks to its education programmes and charity work.

It is firstly by the will of Allah (SWT) and with the support of our community we have seen such growth across the country. Our vision is to further continue to grow and play a leading role throughout Scotland and beyond, in inspiring a harmonious community rooted from the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.
