In the heart of Ardrossan, a small but growing community of nearly 100 Muslim families wakes up each morning with one dream – to have a place they can finally call their own.
But today, that dream is still under construction.
The building stands quietly, unfinished walls and dusty floors bearing evidence of its future glory. There’s no call to prayer yet, no children laughing in madrassah classrooms and no community hall bustling with life and learning opportunities. Only hope, devotion, and determination keep this vision alive.
The vision of Ardrossan Mosque is becoming reality – one stage at a time.
Almost there! Only 30% remaining to complete the house of Allah.

Your contribution today helps transform this structure into a home of worship, learning, and belonging for the entire community.

Alhamdulillah, the roof and outer walls of Ardrossan Mosque have been fully completed, marking a major milestone in the project. This structure now stands strong, ready for the next phase of construction.

By the mercy of Allah, the ground floor concreting has been successfully completed. This lays the foundation for internal fit-out works, bringing the community one step closer to their first mosque.
For many families here, life without a mosque means travelling miles just to offer Jummah prayer.

Children grow up without access to Islamic education, missing the chance to connect with their deen at a young age. No madrassahs, no weekend classes and no place for community gatherings - only an intense yearning to find something familiar that feels like home.

Mothers worry their children might forget the sound of an adhan, while fathers silently hope for a place where families can pray together. Youths seek guidance and community but find only distance and isolation. Every household feels the absence of a centre that could unite their hearts and guide their steps.

Yet despite these challenges, this community remains strong. They regularly gather in homes for prayer and teaching small group classes of children; each brick laid today represents an investment in their future.
Rain falls, seeping through an incomplete roof; winter winds pass through unfinished walls. Yet each time someone walks by they stop to pray silently that soon these walls will be finished.
Elders visit the construction site, their eyes filled with hope. Children peek through the dusty windows, imagining classrooms and Qur’an lessons. This place, even in its incomplete state, already holds the dreams of an entire generation.
What’s missing are not just funds - what’s missing is the final push that can transform this shell of a building into a centre of light and guidance.

When this mosque and community centre is complete, it will be more than just a building. It will be a centre of hope - a space where:
It will be the heart of Ardrossan’s Muslim community — a place where belief meets action and where generations will grow stronger together.
This dream can only come to life through collective effort. Every donation - large or small — brings this project one step closer to completion. Together, we can transform this construction site into classrooms, prayer halls, and welcoming spaces filled with light, peace, and connection.
Every brick laid today can be considered a sadaqah jariyah -- an ongoing charity that will keep rewarding you long after you're gone. Every prayer offered, child taught or act of kindness that takes place within these walls will bear your reward.
Let’s build a home in Ardrossan. Together, we can make sure no child grows up without a madrassah, no family without a mosque, and no community without a heart.
