Islamic Studies

All Madrasah students, irrespective of class and age, attend their Islamic Studies curriculum for children once a week. They learn using the Safar Islamic Studies curriculum for children.

1. The series actively builds children’s essential Islamic knowledge, cultivates good character, and instills God consciousness.
2. Moreover, it covers all core subjects: Qurʾānic stories, Islamic tenets of faith (ʿaqīdah), religious rulings (fiqh), and major events from the life of Prophet Muḥammad. It also includes personal development topics in an age-appropriate way.
3. Each textbook exclusively references the Qurʾān and ḥadīth. The stories rely entirely on authentic material from both sources.
4. Furthermore, the content remains highly relevant and engaging for each age group. Teachers structure the lessons to help children understand and connect with the morals being taught.
5. Each book follows a cumulative learning path. Students develop practical knowledge first, and then build on it with deeper theoretical concepts.
6. Practical lessons are clearly marked, enabling teachers to use a variety of learning methods to deliver content effectively.
7. To ensure gradual and logical progression, textbook lessons are grouped into themes and aligned with Safar’s weekly structure.
8. Central elements such as God consciousness and manners are revisited throughout the series. This approach reinforces learning and broadens students’ understanding over time.
