AFECC have been involved in Humanitarian work for a number of years and will continue to make great efforts to provide support to those in need on a local and worldwide scale.
We have raised a vast amount of money for various projects via collections, events involving local groups and other mosques and through the continued support of our community. Among these causes are Burma and Syria. We are honoured to say that our own Imam has played a significant role in helping the oppressed Rohingya Muslims who fled to Bangladesh by visiting the fields, distributing food parcels and establishing a number of mosques in rural areas.
Our aid also focuses on local projects and the area surrounding AFECC. Just recently, we partnered with a local charity to distribute food packages to the homeless community across Glasgow.
