We run two evening schools dedicated to teaching Quran recitation, Quran memorisation and Islamic Studies in accordance to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). Our first school runs from 4.30pm to 6pm and the second takes place from 6pm to 7.30pm.
The beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Quran and teach it.” This simple yet powerful statement is what we strive for. We want students and teachers to experience the joy of the Quran which will serve them well for the entirety of their lives.
New students are tested before being assigned to a specific class except students starting from the Qaidah. At the end of every academic year each student is tested to assess whether they can move up to the next level.
Beginner’s Qaidah- First half of the Qaidah
Advanced Qaidah- Second half of the Qaidah
Beginner’s Quran- 30th Juz (Chapter)
Intermediate Quran- 1st to 5th Juz (Chapter)
Advanced Quran- 6th to 29th Juz (Chapter)
Our Islamic Studies syllabus aims to give students a true understanding of the religion in accordance with the Quran and the Sunnah. Our studies depend on the age of the children. Qaidah classes will learn the basics of Prayer, Ablution and Supplication while Quran classes will engage in deeper aspects of Islam depending on the degree of difficulty.
As well as studying topics such as: Aqeedah, Emaan, Fiqh and Salah, we make it our mission to ensure each individual understands their rights and responsibilities as a Muslim, their duty to society and the value of manners and good characteristics within and ouwith the religion.
AFECC’s teaching materials have been produced and designed in-house to give students a quality and precise education in Islamic Studies and a greater sense of attachment to the mosque.
